Prospectus
        Certificate in Cyber Law Awareness for Netizens 
        is a Course meant to provide an understanding of  the basic 
        structure of Cyber Laws and its impact on the common man in the Cyber 
        Era.
        
At the end of  the Course, the student would be 
        aware of the nature of the Nature and Scope of Cyber Laws, Nature of 
        Cyber Properties, Essence of Cyber Contracts, Using of Digital 
        Signatures, Law regarding Common Cyber Crimes, etc. They will also be 
        familiar with the objectives and key features of Information Technology 
        Act 2000.
        
Since the Course is meant for the common 
        man, emphasis would be given to simple language and explanation of 
        concepts in the context of the environment in which a common man uses 
        computers either at home or in an office or a Cyber cafe.
        
Who should take this course? 
        
This course is meant for any person who uses computers 
        and Internet. No prior knowledge of either law or technology is 
        required. 
        
How the Course is Conducted: 
        
-
          The Course is normally expected to be completed in 12 weeks.  
          
          -On completion of Registration and  Receipt of the 
          payment, the first lesson would be sent by e-mail. Subsequently the 
          lessons would be sent by e-mail at weekly intervals.  
          
-Periodical Interactive sessions would be arranged where students 
          can interact with the faculty through Chat sessions.  
          
-Individual queries would be addressed through e-mail. 
          
-At the end of the Course, all students would be given a 
          Certificate of Completion. Those considered eligible will be given a 
          "Special Merit Certificate". This would be based on the quality of 
          answers sent by the student as evaluated by the 
        faculty.

        The Course fee is  Rs 500/- . Hard copies of 
        material of course material are available at an extra amount of RS

At the time of  registration,  prospective students have to
make the payment of the Course fee along with the full particulars of the
